Ruth Ann Davis
Vice President, Strategic Markets and Relationships
For the past 28 years, Ruth Ann Davis has worked with Williams/Phoenix (a manufacturer of gas and electric heating, hydronic or refrigerant fan coils and air handlers, dehumidifiers, and air curtains) in a variety of executive positions including Regional Sales Manager; Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing; and her current role as Vice President, Strategic Marketing and Relationships.
Ruth Ann’s specialties include government and advocacy, energy and environmental, renewables and technology, manufacturing and engineering, and sales and marketing of heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment – marketed through multi-channels of distribution – design-build, wholesale, and retail.
In addition to the unique skills and talents she exercises while representing Williams/Phoenix, she associates with professionals in the HVACR arena not only to provide leadership and to hone HVACR practices but also to ensure that she is at the forefront of the HVACR industry’s technology. WHPA Emerging Technology (ET) Goal/Strategies
ET GOAL: Envision tools and technologies that would help transform the HVACR market and seek their development in both public and private research laboratories.
STRATEGY 1: Investigate and identify needed emerging energy efficiency technologies and provide insight, guidance and prioritization to such technologies that become identified for development or commercialization.
STRATEGY 2: Assist with the field testing of commercially viable tools, equipment and processes, and report results.
STRATEGY 3: Provide peer exchange, input and counsel on market transformation, environmental quality and sustainability goals as it relates to emerging technology activities.
